Margaret Meysenburg Obituary Margaret A. Meysenburg, 86, of Wahoo died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at Saunders County Hospital in Wahoo. She was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Abie to Joseph and Mary (Shimerka) Roh. She attended elementary and high school in Abie. She married John A. Meysenburg on Nov. 7, 1942, in Fort Crook. They settled in Wahoo after he returned from serving in the U.S. Army. She was a homemaker and worked many years at the Saunders County Hospital. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Church, St. Ludmilla Guild, Altar and Rosary Society and a 50-year member of St. Wenceslaus Choir. She was a member of Catholic Daughters, American Legion Auxiliary Post 82, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post 4502 and Royal Neighbors of America. She was a Cub Scout Den leader, 4-H leader, Saunders County Auxiliary member and volunteer, St. Wenceslaus School and Bishop Neumann High School volunteer and member of Saunders County Czech Singers. Survivors include: a daughter, Margaret (and husband, Michael) Divine of Raymond; two sons, Nick Meysenburg and Mike (and wife, Mary) Meysenburg, all of Omaha; siblings, Irma Drahota, Alice Clinkenbeard, Victor (and wife, Millie) Roh, Joe (and wife, Alice) Roh, Millie (and husband, Jim) Eagan and the Rev. Raymond Roh, OSB; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty Roh, Eva Homan and Bill and Mary Lawson; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, three brothers and a sister. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Wahoo with the Rev. Charles Townsend officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Tuesday with an Altar and Rosary Society rosary at 3 p.m., all at Svoboda Funeral Home in Wahoo. Visitation will continue after 6 p.m. at the church will a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m. Visitation also will take place one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Wahoo. A memorial has been established to the Bishop Neumann High School Guardian Angel Fund.
