Bio

Lorna Metcalf Condie died peacefully in her home on January 17, 2014. She was born February 13, 1929 in Springville, Utah to Frank and Ivy Metcalf. She married Malcolm Kenneth Condie on May 22, 1947, and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. She is the mother of six children, 23 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter. Mom was a wonderful homemaker, a loving mother, and an accomplished seamstress, cook and artist. During her life she was active in the LDS Church and served in many callings including Relief Society President and Young Women's leader. Mom's example of Christ-like love and service was a blessing to all she touched. She is preceded in death by her husband Malcolm, daughter Calleen, granddaughters Haylee and Sheridan, and great grandson John. She is survived by her children Susan (Gary) DeRose, Kristine (Bruce) Marshall, Patricia (Reed) Robbins, Brenda (Scott) Bales, and Kenneth (Calleen) Condie; her sweet sister Marilyn Fullmer, and her large and loving family including grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and her many nieces and nephews. Services were held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the LDS Heritage Church at 1785 E 400 S, Springville, Utah with a viewing at 10 am and services at 11 am. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Springville, Utah. The family would like to sincerely thank the Intermountain Health Care Hospice and her many loving and kind ward members and neighbors.
