MARION ELIFLETT "LIFF" MOORE was born on 29 July 1876 in Hopkins County, Texas to William "Bill" Turner Moore (1856 - 1945) and Mary Susan Chenault (Often misspelled Schinnault: 1855 - 1915). Marion married Charley Wesley Bryant on 01 March 1912 in Hopkins County, Texas, and they had four children: Jalmer Belmont Moore (1913-2011), Marion Eugene Moore (1915-1981), Anne Francis Moore (1920-1934), and Kenneth Tom Beckham Moore (1927-1994).
