Mrs. Annie Blackmon Mrs. Annie Blackmon, age 82, died at her home on Hand Avenue in Bay Minette Wednesday, Dec. 20, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Blackmon was a native and life-long resident of Bay Minette. She was a member of the Church of God. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at Dean Church in Rabun with Rev. Will and Charolette Fretwell officiating. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Minnie Presnall, Bay Minette, Mrs. Lorena Hines, Pensacola, Fla., Mrs. Rosie McDowell, Perdido, Mrs. Arthurine Harville, Bay Minette, and Mrs. J. D. Nichols, Panama city, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Cooper, Bay Minette, Mrs. Hubart Fitzmaurice, Pearl River, La., and Mrs. Daisy Bryars, Montgomery, La.; one brother, Tom Dean, Rabun; 20 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
