Bio

MRS. DEAN Mrs. Ben Dean died last week in the west side of town at the age of sixty years of dropsy. Before her marriage she was Miss Elvina Darter, a member of numerous family of that name, who lived west of town. The family are scattered now and we are unable to tell which of them are living nor where. She was a sister of Mr. Mike Darter and the mother of Mrs. John Shanks. The remains were interred in Darter burying ground near town.
