Bio

Mrs. Nathan Smith Dies Suddenly. Mrs. Rosa Smith, wife of Mr. N. L. Smith the well known blacksmite [sic] here, died at the family residence Sunday afternoon, 3 o’clock of paralysis, as it is supposed, this being her second stroke, Mrs. Smith had been her usual health and no member of the family was at home at the time, except a lady who was living with the family. Mr. Smith was in town, however, and he and the children were notified at once. Before her marriage Mrs. Smith was a Miss Darter, sister of Mr. Henderson of this place, Mr. Peter Darter of Caball, Mo., Mrs. E. A. Bradford and Mrs. Ben Dean of this county. She is survived by her husband and three children, all grown. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Methodist Church and was a most excellent lady. The interment was in the family burying ground near Oil City, after funeral services by Rev. R. T. Brown. The Glasgow Republican Oct 26, 1911
