GILMER - Funeral services for Donna Louise Kouba, 83, of Gilmer, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Enon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Ray Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Grice Cemetery in Upshur County. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Kouba passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009. Mrs. Kouba was born June 19, 1925, in Simpsonville, to Walter S. and Mabel Smith. She was a retired school teacher with the Union Hill and Harmony ISDs, a member of Enon Baptist Church and had lived most of her life in Upshur County. She is survived by her husband, Tom Kouba of Gilmer; son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Elaine Kouba of McKinney; sisters, Pauline Foster of Irving, Corine Ramsey of Midlothian and Glenda Bannister of New Summerfield; grandchildren and spouse, Karen Elaine and Matt Davis and Stewart Thomas Kouba; great-grandchild, Caroline Grace Davis. Pallbearers will be Jerry Bannister, Milton Wiley, Clifford Culberson, Buck Ray, Bob Brown and William Rose.
