Mattie was the daughter of B.F. ATHEY & Martha HODGE. She married (1) Frank H. MAY on July 29, 1900 in Collin County, Texas. Frank died in 1911, and then she wed (2) George Danial ORMAN on January 8, 1915 in Henderson County, TX. She and Frank had six children: Samuel Henderson, Jewell Catherine, Allen, Maude Clester, Wee Wink, and Ruth MAY. She had one child with George Orman- a daughter Meally. She was a housewife.
