Bio

Helen L. Williams Bass Willingham, age 90, died May 30, 2011 at the Malvern Nursing Home. She was born February 16, 1921 in Arkdelphia to the late Jim W. and Myrtle Watson Williams. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Malvern. She loved to sing in the choir and was a loving mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband of 35 years, Ray K. Bass; second husband of five years, Preston Willingham; one son, Jack Bass; two sisters, Brenda Nash and Nina Skaggs and brother, Glen James Williams. Helen is survived by one son, Ray K. Bass, Jr. and wife Ruth of Malvern; one brother, Sam Williams and wife Madge of Rowlett, TX. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 3, 2011 at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Arkdelphia.
