Bio

Heman E. Ard, 78, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Summerdale, died March 14, 1994. Survivors include his wife, Loretta Ard of Summerdale; four daughters, Janice Smith of Foley, Patricia Meredith of Robertsdale, Patricia Powell of Mobile and Cheryl Reed of Summerdale; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services were held March 17 at Greenwood Bible Deliverance Church in Summerdale with the Rev. Marie Harms officiating. Burial was in the Old Cooper Cemetery in Robertsdale.
