Services for Lois Polk Hollingsworth, 80, of Slaton will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Englunds Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Darris Linder officiating. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery. She died Thursday, May 13, 1999, in Heritage Oaks Nursing Center in Lubbock. She was born July 26, 1918, in Lynn County. She attended Southland schools. She married Donald W. Polk in 1935, and he died Jan. 27, 1967. A daughter, Veletta Limmer, died June 16, 1995. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and she was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, Richard "Richie" Polk and Randal "Randy" Polk, both of Slaton; a brother, Norman Bruster of Slaton; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
