Sarah Adaline Burk[e] Phillips was born in Nolensville, Williamson, Tennessee in 1831. She married John "J.W." Wesley Phillips. They were the parents of 6 (known) children: Nancy (1854-?), James S. Phillips (1856-1905), George William Phillips (1861-1943), William Thomas Phillips (1863-1901), Henry Anderson Phillips (1868-1938) and John Harvey Phillips (1873-1954). She passed away early in the year of 1900 and was laid to rest in the Antioch Cemetery in Barber, Arkansas. The following info may not be about this Sarah. Still researching. Sarah Adaline Burk was listed in her father's probate (Petition to Partition fashioned 'TA Johnson & wife MA Johnson & William Burk Plt.f vs Burk et al [Heirs of James Burk]' Hamilton CO TN 1867) as the husband of John Phillips. She was also listed in the 1850 US Hamilton CO TN Census Hh of her parents James Monroe Burk & Nancy (nee Longley).
