~~~~~ Wirka, Carrie Chvatal 1887 - 1946 Obituary Mrs. Carrie Wirka passed away suddenly at her home near Morse Bluff, Tuesday, January 8, 1946. She was born August 11, 1887 near Morse Bluff. At the age of three years she moved with her parents three miles north of Prague. She was married to Joseph Wirka in 1911, and to this union was born one son. She is survived by her husband Joseph, son Wilfred of Morse Bluff and aged father; two sisters, five brothers and one grandchild. Funeral services were held at two o'clock January 11 from the National Hall at Prague with Rev. Filipi in charge of the services. Pallbearers were her nephews, Francis Chvatal, Bernard and Donald Chvatal, Leonard Wirka, Lad and William Wirka. Interment was at the National Cemetery at Prague near her parents. ~~~~~
