Bio

Evelyn M. Lawley Furry, 71, Rt. 6, Olney, was found dead at her home on Monday. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Woodward presiding. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Furry was born in Herrin, IL on Feb. 3, 1908, daughter of J.C. and Elizabeth (Le Grande) Lawley. She married Roy Furry on Nov. 10, 1968, and he died in Olney on Oct. 23,1976. She is survived by a sister Irene Pickell, luka, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers. Mrs. Furry was a retired International Shoe Co. employee, and a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
