Bio

PROVO — lnes Morgan Andersen 75, died Friday, Oct. 24, 1986, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. She was born Nov. 18, 1910, in Millville, a daughter of Ernest L. and Elizabeth Bawdin Morgan. She married Ariel Andrew Andersen on June 1, 1932, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died June 14,1983. She graduated from South Cache High School and attended the William Budge Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Logan. She and her family lived in Ames, Iowa; Cincinnati, Ohio; Albany, Calif.; and, from 1952 until the time of her death she lived in Provo. She was a seamstress at the Provo LBS Temple for many years and was an active member of the LDS Church where she was a leader in the Relief Society. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and a member and leader of the artist's section of the Women's Council of Provo. She and her husband dedicated much of their lives in the last 16 years to organizing and supporting the Foundation for Indian Devel-opment dedicated to helping Guatemala's needy Indians She is survived by three sons and two daughters, Mario R. Andersen, Spokane, Wash.; Cordell M. Anderson, Provo; Gayle Lufain, San Diego, Calif.; Howard L. Anderson, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. George (Jolene) Burckle, Redland, Calif.; 23 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Elwood Morgan, Mrs. Ernest (Irma) Loosli, Hula Nielsen, Mrs. Orville (Zelda) Eliason, Austin (Jimmy) Morgan and Darwin Morgan, all of Logan; .Delton Morgan, Ogden. Funeral services will be Wednesday at noon in the Oak Hills 6th LDS Ward Chapel, 1900 N. 1500 East,.Provo. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Foundation for Indian Development through any family member. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Walker Mortuary in Provo.
