W K Gant, Jr. age 89, of McKinney, Texas passed away March 22, 2009. He was born October 9, 1919 in McKinney, Texas to Willie Karr Gant, Sr. and Georgia Mae Gant. On September 30, 1939 he married Vivian Pauline Ramey in Collin County. W K proudly served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Gant; son, Ron Gant and wife, Liz of Denison,Texas; daughter, Paula Gant Lewis and husband, Ron of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Ona Mae Jerecka of Sherman, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, Weldon, Melvin, Welborn, Clarence, Clyde, Ray and his grandchild, Chad Gant. Funeral services Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
