Bio

South Kansas Tribune, Wed., Nov. 8, 1911 Mrs. Minerva Austin died at her home in Lone Elm district Oct. 31 at the age of 77 years, and interment at the Krone cemetery. She came with her husband from Macon county, Ill., in the fall of 1876, and has lived in Lone Elm district thirty-five years. Her husband died Jan. 14 of this year, at the age of 88 years. Her son William has lived with his parents and helped care for them the past eleven years, and his mother has been in failing health for a year. [ per #47602571 - 12/13/20]
