Sioux Center News - February 24, 1983 Funeral services for Anna (DeGroot) Vander Kooi, 90, of Tuff Home in Hills, Mn. were held Feb. 19 in the Steen Reformed church. She died Feb. 15. Burial was in Hope Cemetery, Hull, Edgebretson Funeral Home directing. She was born in Hull; married Wililam B. Vander Kooi in 1910 in Hill. They lived in Hull until 1964 when she came to and in 1971 entered Tuff Home in Hills. He died in 1960. Survivors include son, Rev. Willis Vander Kooi, Orange City; daughters, Mrs. H.L. (Dorothy) Coffman of Cypress, Ca., and Mrs. Herman Kroon (June) of Steen, Minn.
