Death Notice: Maudell Elizabeth Greer, 87, of Bryan, passed away Monday at her residence. Arrangements are pending with Callaway-Jones Funeral Home & Crematory in Bryan. (Published in The Bryan-College Station Eagle on March 18, 2009) Obituary: Maudell Elizabeth Greer, 87, of Bryan, passed away Monday at her residence. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m., Thursday, March 19, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Steep Hollow Cemetery. Maudell was a member of Northview Baptist Church, and the Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Colie and Lizzie Powers; sister, Cora May Jones; brothers, William "Slick" Powers, John Powers, and Lum Powers; sister, Ina Dyess Browning. Survivors include her husband, Milton N. Greer, of Bryan; daughters, Brenda Duncan, of Amarillo, Sheryll Lewis, of Austin; sons, Clyde Wilkerson and Rodney Greer, both of Bryan; sister, Artie Barnett, of Waco; 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
