Margaret Evelyn Zabriskie Heap Whatcott, 92, passed away April 4, 2009 at her daughter's home in Richfield, Utah. She was born December 6, 1916 in Junction, Utah to John Horace and Susan Alice Cook Zabriskie. She married Max Perkins Heap on September 3, 1936 in the St. George Temple. He preceded her in death December 14, 1984. She married A. Elihu Whatcott on June 6, 1985 in St. George. He later preceded her in death. She loved her family and loved to be surrounded by them. She had various interests from crocheting to the price of hay and cattle and with the help of her grandkids, she was able to keep up on her favorite soaps. She enjoyed fishing and cooking. She is survived by a daughter, Rowena (Ken Ledbetter) Hulet of Richfield; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gwen Jackman and Louine Brimhall both of Murray. Evelyn is preceded in by her parents; husbands; children, Arden Heap and Shirley Heap; 2 grandchildren; 1 grandson-in-law; brother, Marlow Zabriskie Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, in Richfield. Burial will take place in the Cedar City Cemetery Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
