Bio

Gwen Z. Jackman beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother, great great grandmother returned to our Heavenly Father on April 30, 2012 and into the arms of her loving husband, Earl D. Jackman. Born on August 13, 1913 to Alice and John Zabriskie in Junction, UT. She was the 2nd of four children and sealed to her eternal sweetheart, Earl, in the Manti Temple on October 24, 1934. Dearly loved by all who knew her, good example for all to follow. Constantly praying for all those she loved, and her prayers were answered. She was a very hard worker and worked at ZCMI Warehouse, Utah Pickle Co., and Deseret Industries. At each job she worked side by side with her sweetheart. She was a great gardener and had an exceptional love for animals. Up until the last month of her life she drove to Salt Lake City to help her son in his shop. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. Preceded in death by: her loving husband Earl, daughter Mona Lou Hall, and great grandson Samuel Cory Davies. Also by her siblings: Marlo Zabriskie, Evelyn Heaps Whatcott. Survived by her children: Dee and Tami Jackman, Merle and Dale Davies, Shirley and Alan K. Allen, eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren.
