Bio
Daughter of Otto L. & Henrietta I. (Kroeger) Kaspar. She attended Richland and Bellwood grade schools and Columbus High School. She met and married Ed Buzynski and had four children. They lived in Columbus and then California for a time. In 1964, Marlene was united in marriage to Jim Jacobson, and they had two sons. They lived in Bellevue, Nebraska, where she helped Jim run his business. In 1970, she moved back to Bellwood where she raised her six children. She worked at Becton-Dickinson and the David City Bakery. Marlene enjoyed gardening and canning. She loved working in her flower garden. She was a great cook, a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed babysitting all her grandchildren, watching Husker football, and listening to Elvis Presley.
