Charles Booker Turner Jul 03, 1880 - Jul 05, 1972 Charles Booker Turner Funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Corley Funeral Chapel for C. B. Turner, 92, a resident of Emhouse and native of Mississippi who died Tuesday in Farmers Branch Rev. Gerald Williamson will officiate, and burial will be in Pattison Cemetery. Turner was a retired grocerier and member of the First Baptist Church of Emhouse. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. C. B. Turner of Emhouse; two sons, Leroy Turner of Farmington, N.M. and R. E. Turner of Carrollton; one daughter, Mrs. R. C. Spears of Houston; two brothers, Hughie Turner of Dallas and Walter Turner of Irving; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Tinkle of Irving and Mrs. Amanda Williams of Houston; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Calvin Turner, W. A. Harper Jr., Frank Seely Jr., Randy Spears, Jim Turner, and Robert Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Oliver Allen, A. C. Richards, Frank Seely Sr., Will Tallant, Earl Brown, Bill Stewart and Ralph Stell.
