MRS. ANNIE MARIE PERRITT Southern Funeral Home Jonesboro, LA Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Marie Perritt of Eros, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Community of Christ Church, Eros, LA with Elders J.P. Mobley and Ellis Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Community of Christ Church Cemetery. Mrs. Annie Marie Perrit was born May 5, 1938 in Houston, Texas and passed away February 28, 2008 at her residence in Eros, LA. Marie was a blessing to all she came in contact with. Although she was blind from birth, she saw the world in her own special way. She attended school for the blind in Baton Rouge, LA where she graduated and also furthered her education by attending NLU as a music major. She was loved by all and she touched many lives, too numerous to count, through her music. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years Floyd Thornell and son Kenneth Thornell. She is survived by her husband Elvin Perritt, Eros, LA; mother Exie Phillips, Eros, LA; two daughters, Sandy Stucky and husband Danny of West Monroe, LA , Barbara Shurling and husband Reg of Weston, LA.; son Sheldon Thornell and wife Carla of Eros, LA. Two daughters; Johnette Smith and husband Steve, Conyers, GA and Anna Womack and husband Tommy, Oxford GA; brother George Phillips and wife Betty of Eros, LA; Granddaughters, Lindsey, Alexis , Stephanie, and Ashely, and two Great Grand-daughters. She is also survived by a a host of other relatives and friends.
