OBITUARY : MRS. MARGARET ANN "MAGGIE" SHOCKEY, 91, of Old Fields, died Sunday at her home. A native of Hardy County, she was a daughter of the late Isaac S. and Martha (Bowman) Myers . Mrs. Shockey was the widow of James R. Shockey and was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Surviving are six sons, Seymour , Loring , George , Homer , Saul and Woodrow Shockey , all of Old Fields; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Lease and Miss Janie Shockey , both of Old Fields; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Shrout, Oldtown, Md., and Mrs. Lula Mullins , Moorefield; two brothers, Calvin Myers , Moorefield, and Willie Myers, Cumberland; 34 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Thrush Funeral Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Laurean Smith. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
