Bio
Samuel W. Shockey Sr., 77, Old Fields, W.Va., died Thursday, March 30, 2000, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Mongantown, W.Va. Mr. Shockey was born May 7, 1922, in Hardy County, W.Va., and was the son of the late James and Margaret Myers Shockey. He was an Army veteran of World War II. The Rev. will conduct the funeral at 2pm Sunday at the Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield. Burial will follow at Elijah High Cemetery in Rada, W.Va. with military rites by Moorefield Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 today at the funeral home.
