Name: S R Ellington County: Newton Military Unit: Georgia 47th Infantry Regiment ... Muster Date: 8 Mar 1862! We assume that Sidney Ross Ellington is buried in this location marked by fieldstones! "I found proof on October 11, 2015 to substantiate that Sidney Ross Ellington was killed during the Civil War because his brother James (II) ran an ad in the Weekly Intelligencer Newspaper (August 1st 1862 and Joel (II) ran a similar ad in The Southern Confederacy Newspaper on September 20th 1865 after the death of James (II)
