Bio

Killed in action while serving in the 678th Bombardment Squadron, 444th Bombardment Group. Service No. 18056889 (service number submitted by James Durham). Originally buried in the Kalaikunda Cemetery, Kalaikunda, India , he was returned for reburial at Fort Sam Houston on April 12, 1949. Flight Engineer on John Swick crew. The aircraft that took off from Duahkandi, India, and crashed shortly afterward. All personnel onboard were killed.
