Bio

NO HEADSTONE Belle was the sixth of twelve children born to David Crockett and Mary A. (Vick) McCullough. She married (1) Andrew C. Hewgley in 1896 and they had one son: Norton Otis. She later married (2) Grover Cleveland Sparkman and they had four children: Thomas Cleveland, Ruth, Rufus and Johnnie Clinton. Fort Worth Star-Telegram, TX July 23, 1955 Mrs. Bell Sparkman, 86, of 2418 Columbus died Friday in a hospital after an illness of about two months. Mrs. Sparkman, a native Texan, had lived in Fort Worth since 1909. She was a member of Rosen Heights Baptist Church. Survivors are two sons, Tom and Rufus Sparkman of Fort Worth; two brothers, J. P. McCullough of Fort Worth and Eugene McCullough of Idalou; five sisters, Mrs. Bruce Summerford of Fort Worth, Mrs. Sally Williams of Duncan, Okla., Mrs. Kate Simmons of Pottsville, Mrs. Addie True of Newport Beach, Cal., and Mrs. Annie Watkins of Baldwin Park, Cal., five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in Robertson Mueller-Harper Chapel with Rev. Jesse Garrett officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood.
