Son of Samuel Oscar (S.O.) Gordon & Mae Sue Hanson Gordon of Corsicana. Served in the US Army in WWII in Italy & North Africa. returned to Corsicana & made a career at the US Post Office. married Elsie Norene Griggs & had 3 children, Sylvia Gordon, Martin Gordon, & David Gordon. died the day they pulled Baby Jessica out of the well
