Ben N. Egger Dies Monday Ben N. Egger of 400 Colorado Ave. and Just of the Peace in the local precinct, died at 11 a.m. Monday at Simmons Memorial Hospital after several months of illness. he was a long-time resident of Nolan County having moved here from Nolan some years ago. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Patterson Funeral Home. Mr. Egger was born May 7, 1899, in Mills County and had lived in Nolan County since 1932, in Sweetwater for the past 10 years. He was married to Ruby Hazel Jeffery at Ebony in 1921. Funeral services have been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lamar Street Baptist Church. The Rev. J.L. Cartrite and the Rev. Neal Rogers will officiate. Surviving Mr. Egger are his wife; two sons, R.B. Egger of Atlanta, Ga., and Oran Egger of Lawn; a daughter, Mrs. Glenda Davis of Socorro, N.M.; four sisters - Mrs. Edna Boyd and Mrs. Audry Spain of Brownwood, Mrs. Ola Yates of Winters and Mrs. Ruth Boyd of Cisco; three brothers - Alvie Egger of Nolan, Owen Egger of Plainview and Marvin Egger of Houston; nine grandchildren. --Sweetwater Reporter-News, February 8, 1966
