Bio
Letitia [Lutisha on tombstone] was born the daughter of John Thomas England [1790-1855] VA and Lina "Linny" Hall [1789-1842]. Her parents moved from Franklin County Virginia into Robertson County Tennessee in 1814 with a host of families who were friends and who had intermarried: Richards, Stewart, Jones, Warren, England, among others. Her parents moved north into Morgan County Illinois in the fall of 1830, then settled the next year in Macoupin County IL. Letitia married Robert Augustus Jones, son of Watemon Augustus Jones, on 16 October 1834 in Macoupin County IL. Robert was the grandson of Robert Augustus Core Jones, a native of England, who had married Susannah Richards while living in Franklin County Virginia. Their children: 1.
