A STREATOR FRIEND STREATOR DAILY FREE PRESS STREATOR, ILLINOIS THURSDAY, MARCH 5, 1914-PG.1. MRS. MARTHA RINKER RELIEVED BY DEATH AGED LADY PASSED AWAY AT HOME OF SON NORTHEAST OF THIS CITY. Mrs. Martha Rinker, aged 75 years, died at the home of her son, Charles Rinker, south of Marseilles, at about 6:30 o'clock Tuesday evening after an illness of seven months. The direct cause of her death was due to pneumonia, but since last summer she had suffered with a broken leg. At the time of the accident she was brought to the hospital in this city, and was later taken to a hospital at Chicago, where she remained until a few weeks ago, when she was taken to the home of her son, Charles Rinker, northeast of Streator. Mrs. Rinker was well known in Marseilles, having lived there until six years ago, when her husband's death occurred. She then went to live with her son. She is survived by a sister who resides in Chicago, and by two children, Charles, of south of Marseilles, and Mrs. Miller of Oklahoma. Arrangements for the funeral have not been made as yet, but as soon as word is received from the daughter in Oklahoma, the time of the funeral will be set.
