Wife of Harmon L. Pope Sr.; Daughter of Charles David Allen and Gertrude (Smith ) Allen Katherine Faye (Allen) Pope Dec 10, 1911 - Jan 9, 1964 Mrs. H. L. Pope Dies In Tyler, Rites Friday Mrs. Faye Katheryn Pope, 52 wife of H. L. Pope. 2829 Shady Lane, Tyler, a former Corsicana resident, died in a Tyler hospital Thursday morning following an extended illness. Mrs. Pope formerly was n telephone operator with the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company here and several years ago transferred to the Tyler office. Surviving are her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Bill In- man, both of Tyler: two grand- children; mother, Mrs. C. D. Allen, Corsicana: three sisters, Mrs. Paul Harvey, Gainesville: Mrs. D. H. Hughes. Corsicana. and Mrs. Loyd Gillen, Barry: and other relatives. Funeral services will he held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Mc- Cammon Chapel with burial in the Pattison cemetery at Emhouse. The rites will be conducted by Dr. W. M. Shamburger, pas- tor of the First Baptist Church, Tyler, and Rev. Robert Woody, pastor of the First Baptist church here.
