Rosalie Allen Gillen Corsicana Daily Sun (TX) - Tuesday, May 25, 2010 Rosalie Allen Gillen, 82, of Barry passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Heritage Oaks West. She was born Oct. 20, 1927, to Gertrude and Charles Allen in Emhouse. Mrs. Gillen was a member of the United Methodist Church of Emhouse where she served as Mission Board chairman. She was a member and officer of UMW Missionary Society, and a member of Emhouse Friendship Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Gillen Sr.; and sisters, Katherine Pope, Anner Bess Harvey, and Charlys Hughes. She is survived by her son, Loyd Gillen Jr. and wife Johnita; daughter, Lyndal Goetze and husband Larry; granddaughter, Raena Richardson; grandsons, Wade Gillen and Paul Goetze; great-granddaughters, Lanie Gillen and Lacy Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Pattison Cemetery in Emhouse. Pallbearers will be Charles Irvine, Jim Nicholson, Tim Nicholson, W.J. "Sonny" Armstrong, Danny Gillen and Bill Barber. Memorials may be made to Family First Hospice, 109 S.W. Main St., Ennis, TX 75119.
