Bio

Letha Mae Darr, 87 of Waco, passed away, Friday, October 20, 2000. Services were held Monday, October 23,2000 in Waco with her nephew, Dwayne Phy officiating. Mrs. Darr was buried at Concord Cemetery in Waco under the direction of Wilkirson-Hatch Bailey Funeral Home. Mrs. Darr was born September 22, 1913, daughter of Vernon Andrew Collier and wife, Pearl Garrison Collier. She was preceded in death by son William Daniel Fentress in 1979 and her husband, Horace Darr, in 1989. Survivors are daughters, Anna Pearl Moore, husband Bill of Glen Rose, Doris Fentress Tielke, husband Elgin of Angleton and Mary Frances Makovy, husband Henry of Waco; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Paulbearers were Randal Gene Harrison, Lewis Dale Harrison, William Douglas Harrison, Gary Craig, Trent Lowrance, Rodney Fentress, Glendal Lee Thornton, Dennis Eugene Thornton, Randolph Jason Goolsby, Daniel Darr and Ray Orsag.
