Bio

Ruby Lee Ramsour, 90, of Waco, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2009. Graveside services will be Noon Monday, Feb. 2, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Athens, Texas. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 1, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Ruby was born in Athens, Texas, to the late John and Amanda Harris. She worked as a photographer, portrait painter, in retail sales and as a nurse. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church of Waco. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Delmas Sanders and second husband, the Rev. H. Lee Ramsour; three sisters; and one brother. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Gail Pryor and husband, Pat, of Waco; son, Bobby Sanders and wife, Phyllis, of Texas City; grandchildren, Shelli Sanders, Jill Quaratino and husband, Jeff, Matt Pryor and wife, Paige, Amanda O'Connor and husband, Christian and Jeremy Pryor; and great-grandchildren, Leann Sanders, Natalie Quaratino, Jake Pryor and Mairead O'Connor.
