Victoria Advocate, 2 Jul 1967 Frank J. Benys Advocate News Service YOAKUM – Frank J. Benys, 90, died at 8:15 a.m. Saturday in an El Campo hospital. Mr. Benys was born Oct. 26, 1876, in Czechoslovakia. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel and at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church with burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Antonia Benys of El Campo; three daughters, Miss Viola Benys of El Campo, Mrs. Paul Martinka of Sinton and Mrs. Wesley Peters of Corpus Christi; three sons, Rudy Benys of Yoakum and Alfred and Edwin Benys of El Campo; a half-brother, Charles Hanselka of Yoakum; and six grandchildren.
