Bio

Mr. Albert Benys, aged 37 years, 5 months, and 23 days, passed from this slife at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benys, on Route 1 about three miles from Yoakum, following an illness of several years while being confined to his bed for the past two weeks. Mr. Benys is survived by: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benys of Yoakum; three brothers, Rudolph, Alfred and Edwin all of Route 1, Yoakum; three sisters, Miss Lousie Benys of Corpus Christi, Miss Viola Benys of Yoakum. [only two sisters listed] Funeral services were conducted from his home at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 1940 to the St. Anne Catholic Church at 3 p.m. The Rev. H.V. Hug officiated. Interment was made in St. Anne Cemetery. Shiner Gazette, Thursday, March 28, 1940
