Graveside services for Helen F. Wiley Farley were at 2 p.m. Monday, November 18, 1996 at the Dickens Cemetery. Officiating was Reverend C.L. Atkinson, Afton. Burial was under the direction of Campbell Funeral Home, Spur. Mrs. Farley died Saturday, November 16th, 1996 in Lubbock. She was born January 20, 1912 in Springtown, Texas. She married Tom Pace Farley, October 22, 1932 in Hollis, Oklahoma. Mr. Farley preceded her in death on January 29, 1991. She was a homemaker and a nurses aide. She had lived in Lubbock the past 40 years coming from Dickens County. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include one son, Gerald Farley, Midland; one daughter, Lurlene Shobert, Spur; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. ©The Texas Spur, Thursday, November 21, 1996
