A26; Services for Alvin Herman Dodd, 81, of La Mesa, were yesterday in Greenwood Mortuary. Entombment was in Greenwood Mausoleum. He died Saturday in a hospital. Mr. Dodd was born in Texas and lived in the county 48 years. He had been a plumber. Survivors include three daughters, Bobbie Anderson and Betty Hall, both of San Diego, and Barbara Higby of Bloomington, Calif.; a brother, Lester of National City; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
