Rock Springs Daily Rocket Miner, Nov 29, 1980 MARGARET BRIDGEWATER Funeral services for Margaret Catherine Bridgewater, 79, of 1228 North St., Reliance, were held Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Vase Funeral Chapel. Clyde Daniels of the LDS Church officiated. Interment was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens north of Rock Springs, and serving as pallbearers were Clyde Heavin, Norman Heavin, John Wilson, Joe Pirnar, Juan Martinez and Harry Sawick. Mrs. Bridgewater died Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where she had been a patient for eight days. A resident of Reliance since 1946 and former resident of Muskogee, Okla., Mrs. Bridgewater had been in ill health the past one year. She was born in Waxahachie, Texas, the daughter of the late William Thomas and Bertha Grey McElrath Willis. She married Vester Otis Bridgewater in Muskogee on Oct. 17, 1925. Mrs. Bridgewater was a member of the Rock Springs Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Vester of Reliance; one son, Robert Avants of Evanston; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Catherine) Murphy of Huntington Beach, Calif., Betty Bridgewater of Reliance, Mrs. Orville (Dorothy) Hanna of Boise, Idaho and Mrs. Hubert (Billie) Campbell of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bridgewater was preceded in death by one brother, John B. Willis, one sister, Marie Lester and three great-grandchildren.
