Bio

Rose was born at Spring Ranch near Fairfield. A Lawrence woman, Rose M. Janda, 93, died last Wednesday in Mary Lannnig Memorial Hospital, Hastings, She was a lifetime resident of Lawrence. The funeral was Saturday in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lawrence, with the Rev. Valerian Bartek officiating. Rosary was Friday at 7:30 p.m. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery at Lawrence. Mrs. Janda was born Aug. 24, 1898, at Spring Ranch. April 29, 1919, she married John Janda at Deweese. He died Jan. 2, 1966.
