Funeral services for Myrtle Johnson Mattison, 89, of Tomball, TX, formerly of the Cravens Community were Tuesday, December 30th at 1:00 PM in the Gravel Hill Baptist Church the Rev. Arlen Smith officiated. The burial followed in the Drakes Fork Cemetery in Cravens, LA. Myrtle passed away Saturday, December 27th in Tomball, TX. She was born in Cravens the daughter of the late John O. "Pink" and Annie Pelt. She was a homemaker, and a wonderful mother. She is preceded in death by first husband, Vernon Johnson and her second husband, John Oliver Mattison. She is survived by her son, Roger V. & wife, Suzanne Johnson of Cypress, TX; daughters, Shirley & husband, Bob Montgomery, TX and Jo Ann & husband, Charles Mims of Houston, TX; 7 Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. www.labbymemorial.com
