Funeral services for Dolores Earlene Scogin, 70, formerly of Leesville, were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder the Revs. Arlen Smith and Joe Cruse officiated. Burial followed in the Wisby Memorial Cemetery in Cravens. Mrs. Scogin died Thursday, June 9, 2005, in Clear Lake Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas. She was born in Cravens. Mrs. Scogin is preceded in death by her husband, George E. Scogin Sr.; son, George E. Scogin Jr.; father, Earl R. Johnson Sr.; brother, Earl R. Johnson Jr.; sister, Jimmie R. Johnson Hardisty; nephew, Brant L. Hardisty; and great niece, Stormy A. Campbell. She is survived by her mother, Lena P. Johnson of Cravens; sisters Robylene J. Spears of Pasadena, Texas, Claudia J. Spears of Cravens, Gloria J. Dionne of Cravens, and Polly L.
