Ashworth Pitkin, La. - Ruben Gorther Ashworth, 44, died at 2:45pm Wednesday in a New Orleans Hospitla. He is survived by his wfie, Mrs. Margie Bass Ashworth; a son, Jimmy Roy Ashworth; three daughters, Mrs. Betty A. Iber of Marrero, Mrs. Debra Diann Willis, and Miss Brenda Sue Ashworth; three brothers, Ardry Ashworth of Rosepine, Douglas Ashworth of Leesbille, and Edward Ashworth of DeRidder; five sisters, Mrs. Lester Sem of Texas, Mrs. Dorothy cooper, Mrs. Marie Stewart, Mrs. Juanita Lewis, and Mrs. Rachel Watson, all of Deridder; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ashworth; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10am saturday in Gravel Hill Church cemetery, Pitkin, under the direction of Ardoin of Oakdale.
