Father: Harmon (Bud) JOHNSON b: 24 Oct 1881 in Cravens, Vernon Parish, Louisiana Mother: Emma Rosette ANDING b: 30 Mar 1880 in Louisiana Marriage: Lawrence Nealon GILL b: 19 Mar 1914 in Vernon Parish, Louisiana ==== Dezie Johnson Gill, 95, of Buna, Texas passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee, Texas. Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 14, at Central Baptist Church in Buna. Burial followed at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Cravens, Louisiana. Born June 20, 1918 in Cravens, LA, she had lived in Buna since 1952. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Nealon Gill in 1987; and five brothers and one sister. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law of Buna; two grandchildren of Lumberton; two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Silsbee Oaks for the loving care they provided. Services were under Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna.
