James Adkinson Mabra was born to Joseph and Hester Mabra, on Feb. 08, 1859. James was born in Dallas Co. and spent most of his life there. James and Nancy E. Barber were married on the 25th of December in 1879. During this year James and three of his brothers and a sister were married in Dallas Co. James and Nancy moved to Comanche Co. with his Son, father, and others where he lived until he died in 1928. He is buried in Edgewood Cem. in Lancaster, Dallas Co. Texas.
