Bio

Eunice, age 73, passed away at Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege. She was the daughter of Joseph and Ruth Adeline (Roby) Barta. She graduated from Sumner High School in 1952. She married Bernard Fay Swearingen on June 12, 1952, in Lexington, Nebraska but later divorced. She married Roy Woodle on June 26, 1981. Survivors include her sons, Dennis Swearingen, Randy Swearingen, Terry Swearingen, Michael Swearingen, and Timothy Swearingen, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Lois Popple, Geraldine Thies, and Darrell Barta. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son, Jerry Swearingen, and her sister, Irma Brown.
