Son of Walter Clyde Masters & Ida Whitt Masters. He was a Sargent in the U S Army. He Was Killed in action in Germany during World War Two. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tec.Sgt William Wayne Masters, was a former member of M.Company (Heavy Company), 3rd Batallion, 358th Infantry Regiment, 90th Infantry Division. He landed on Dday+2 on Utah Beach, Normandy, France. He was promoted T.Sgt on June 30th, 1944. He survived to all the heavy battles of 90th Infantry Division (Normandy, Northen France, Moselle, Bulges) and was KIA on April 3rd 1945 in Baschau, Germany.
